Newmarket has initiated an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment for
230 Davis Drive.

The Town is proposing to amend the Urban Centres Secondary Plan and Zoning By-law to redesignate and rezone the Church of Christ portion of the subject land to Mixed Use and redesignate and rezone the Town owned land to Parks and Open Space. No development is currently proposed on the Church of Christ portion of the subject land. The Town intends to construct a breathing space and public trail on the Town owned portion of the subject land.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newmarket will hold an in-person and electronic Public Meeting on:
Monday, February 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM
The public can attend the meeting in person in Council Chambers at 395 Mulock Drive or view the live stream available at
www.newmarket.ca/meetings to consider the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments under Section 17 and Section 34 of the Planning Act.
