The Town of Newmarket is committed​ to a responsible and balanced approach to budgeting and managing municipal finances. The Town's approach is to continue to provide top quality services and affordable property taxes, while meeting the needs of a growing community and planning for the future. With a stable reserve fund and decreasing debt, Newmarket has a healthy financial scorecard. 

Property Tax Due Dates ​​​​​​​

Final Property Tax for residential and non-residential bills will be mailed out in June and the next three instalments are due on:

  • Friday, July 26, 2024
  • Monday, August 26, 2024
  • Thursday, September 26, 2024 

Learn about alternative ways you can pay your taxes. In-person payment of property taxes is currently available at the Magna Centre and the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex during its hours of operation at the Customer Service kiosk. 

Magna Centre

  • Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Ray Twinney Recreation Complex

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 to 4:30 p.m.
