Our programs for Tots and Caregivers will stimulate communication, cooperation, imagination, and help tots make new friends! Stop in for crafts and try a variety of hands-on tabletop activities. Join us for a different theme each Wednesday.

Participants will develop their creativity and motor skills and enjoy some fun activities making unique crafts. Finish with a themed scavenger hunt and tabletop activities.

Salty Fun Snowflakes

January 18, 2025 | 10 to 11:30 a.m. 

We shake things up today by adding a pinch of salt, glue, and paint to create a winter wonderland snowflake.

Paper Chain Snakes

January 25, 2025 | 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with us! The snake symbolizes good luck, and they are considered mysterious and wise. Participants will learn how to make paper chains and turn them into snakes.

Valentine Animal Art

February 8, 2025 | 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Participants will learn how to trace shapes, and practice scissor skills to create a valentine, heart-shaped animal made with love in time for Valentine's Day.

Polar Bear Adventure

February 22, 2025 | 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Bring your imagination to create a cool, winter scene polar bear.  Museum staff will challenge your knowledge of polar bears with a fun Trivia Challenge.

Two sessions:

This March Break we offer a variety of creative themes based on our 2025 exhibit, Lanterns, Teapots and Quilts.  Have fun all week long with a different craft, trivia quiz and themed scavenger hunts, and hands-on playtime with tabletop activities.
