Policy Planning in Newmarket
The Town of Newmarket is consistently striving to improve the way our transportation and roads, urban centres and residential areas, and more can suit the needs of our community. We curently have several policy projects underway to support smart growth and development in the comming years.
As one of Canada's best places to live, Newmarket is poised for growth. In anticipation, the Town is working on new Urban Design Guidelines to promote high-quality design developments that will be compatible with the existing community.
The Town of Newmarket has been developing the Mulock Station Area Secondary Plan. This project will plan for change around the future Mulock GO Station.
